Dedicated to St. John the Evangelist, this 19th century church stands proudly in the village of Delabole. Built at the height of quarrying for local Delabole slate, it has a magnificent slate altar and candlesticks.
A small but faithful congregation meets twice a month for services.
The building is also available to the community for bookings for parties, clubs and events; it’s home to several local music ensembles because of its airy feel and bright acoustic.
Like the other churches in the benefice there are strong links with the Methodist Church and other fellowships in the village with regular joint services throughout the year.
